Central AC Rebates

Residential and small commercial customers can get rebates on energy efficient air conditioning equipment. To qualify for a rebate, central air conditioning units must be rated 15 SEER or greater and window units must be Energy Star rated. Units must be purchased and installed after January 1, 2007, and before August 31, 2007.

We will have the application prepared for you. You'll only need to fill in a few items, sign the form and mail or fax it in.

·       Unit must be purchased and installed after January 1, 2007 and completed before August 31, 2007.

·       Program expires August 31^st. or when funds are depleted.

 ·       Applications must be completed and submitted within 90 days of installation or but no later than October 1, 2007.  Applications will be processed in the order in which they are received.

·       Applications are subject to verification.  If the verification cannot be completed, the rebate will not be paid.

·       The unit must be placed in service in the CPS Energy service area.

·       The rebate recipient must be a CPS Energy customer. The rebate will appear as a credit on your CPS Energy account.

·       The Central HVAC rebate is based on the ARI published efficiency ratio.  Both Condensing Unit and Evaporator Coil must be replaced.  No more than 18 months is allowed between the installations of the two components.  The second component must be purchased and installed between January 1, 2007 and August 31, 2007 and the resulting efficiency must be at least 15.0 SEER.
